A total of 1,513 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the fall 2015 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Nazareth College Department of Music's Concert Choir presents ENGLISH AND FRENCH CLASSICS

Students in the Nazareth College Department of Music's Concert Choir, under the direction of lecturer Yunn-Shan Ma, conductor, present their fall recital — ENGLISH AND FRENCH CLASSICS — on Sunday, November 8. The concert's program will feature masterworks from the French and English choral literature, including works of Duruflé, Saint-Saëns, Britten, Parry, Finzi, and Fauré. The event takes place at 3 p.m. in Linehan Chapel, and is free and open to the public.

Twenty Nazareth College Music and Musical Theatre students in chorus for Josh Groban's upstate New York tour stops

Twenty vocal music and music theatre students from Nazareth College's Music and Theatre and Dance departments have been selected to sing backup at Josh Groban's upstate New York tour stops at the Palace Theatre, Albany, New York, Saturday, October 3, 2015; the Landmark Theatre, Syracuse, New York, Tuesday, October 6; and Shea's Performing Arts Center, Buffalo, New York, Wednesday, October 7. Nancy Strelau, associate professor in professional practice/auditions and instrumental coordinator/orchestra conductor in the Nazareth College Department of Music will also join Groban on stage as a violinist. Strelau is serving as vocal contractor for the tour appearances.

SUNY Oneonta Welcomes Newest Red Dragons

This fall, SUNY Oneonta will welcome approximately 1,100 freshmen and 600 new transfer students hailing from across New York, as well as from 16 states and countries.Our newest Red Dragons will officially join the Oneonta family when they walk through the historic pillars of Old Main during the traditional Pass through the Pillars ceremony on Aug. 30, the night before classes begin.

Nearly 250 SUNY Potsdam students completed internship placements at companies, non-profits or campus departments in Spring 2015. SUNY Potsdam's internship program places students with employers whose interests align with their studies. Each student intern has a faculty sponsor, and earns between 1 and 12 credits toward their degree requirements.

More Than 2,000 Graduates in Hudson Valley Community College's Class of 2015

Hudson Valley Community College held its 61st annual Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16 at the college's Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, NY. A total of 2,186 students earned associate degrees and certificates. Of those, 461 graduated with academic honors.

Nazareth College Department of Music's Choirs present EVERYTHING MOZART on Sunday, April 19

Students in the Nazareth College Department of Music's Chamber Singers and Concert Choir will team up to present EVERYTHING MOZART on Sunday, April 19, at 3 p.m. in the Linehan Chapel. The concert will be conducted by Nazareth faculty Mark Zeigler, Rebecca English, and Brian Stevens, and will feature "Regina Coeli, K. 276;" "Ave Verum Corpus, K. 618;" "Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, K. 339;" and "Coronation Mass in C Major, K. 317." This program is free and open to the public.
